This is some pictures of Vätsäri wilderness. It is wide wilderness in northern Lapland. Sevettijärvi is nearest little village. The Arctic Ocean is just over forty kilometers from here. There is no road, no official hiking trails. Only forest and very much stones. There you can see the bears waste or bear itself...

I used to make fire in noon because morning and evening is better hunting time. When I have found the bear with my dog, it is almost always has been evening. In the evening the bear starts to move and the dog will find it easier than noon. In the evening the bear stops more easily when the dog barks it.

Although here is a rugged nature, I like this wilderness. From here you can find tranquility, wild animals and very good fishing spots.
